What a Stupid System!

At our school there are some pretty bad kids but that's every school.
There are druggie kids, bad behavior kids, kids that just don't give a shit.

Now if I were the principal I would want to get rid of the druggie kids, not to mention the idiots who think it's cool to smoke at lunch time, but no. Our principle wants to try and get rid of how people wag school. Now I have to admit that's a big issue in every school. But here is how they try to stop it. They tried to introduce the fingerprinting system.

This involves every student scanning their finger every morning and moving roll call to the end of the day. Isn't that invading a little TOO MUCH PRIVACY!!!??? Scanning your finger? Only the police should be able to have that on record not some dumb school, no?

Instead of kicking these dumb druggie and smoking kids out of the school they do this instead.

Well it failed miserably for the school as the majority of the parents refused to allow them to take our fingerprints so sucked in!!

Fuck this I'm going to a bar

  1. haha what they should do is roll call every class. Then it invades nobodies privacy and it shows who is wagging. and I agree about those "cool kids" who smoke at lunch. I'm a heavy smoker and my whole school life I smoked at lunch once ever. It does not belong at school and it does not belong in front of kids

  2. We goto ask ourselves something, how good can the equipment be for all the school to have to afford it, unless they have someone watch every kid scan in, I can see kids easily finding flaws and exploiting them(there are a few flaws)

  3. Your school should waste their money on buying large gates and dobermans instead of a lame fingerprinting kit to keep students in. Go to fifth period or be mauled to death, the choice is yours.

As for the constantly high kids and other 'rebels', I think schools and their staff put that whole issue in the "It's too hard, we're too lazy and we're not paid enough" pile. Waggers are an easy target.

Being a fellow student at the school I decided to do some research on the issue before making assumptions. The system does scan your fingerprint, but does not store the scanned fingerprint anywhere. It simply converts your fingerprint into a shape and matches the shape to your name each time. You cannot "reverse" the system to get a fingerprint from the shape. The system has been specifically designed to protect your privacy and the media has overreacted about the issue, yet again.
