Think about it, we need to shut down for at least 8 hours a day (sleep),think of something that you own and think on how long you can run it for before it needs to be shutdown. We need to re-fuel our systems periodically (breakfast, lunch and dinner) think of how often you re-fuel your car, Im sure that you don't re-fuel three times day. We rely on an outside heat source (clothing) to keep our tempurature uniform in extreme environments, now think of any animal a lion, bear or dog, they all have fur and they can all adapt to different environments, what have we got, a bit of hair on our head and even then it only lasts around half of our life.
As a human we only live for a maximum of 90 years (not taking in to account the 8 hours a night we're shut down or sleeping), provided that we dont kill each other with weapons, or die from disease or natural disaster. Now 90 years may seem like a long time but if that was the case we wouldnt have all of these douche bags telling me how short my life is and that I should be doing something with it.
Bottom line mankind needs to find ways to extend and better these faults and increase our life span.
Cars and animals might have those traits that are better than humans BUT humans live for much longer than most animals and cars so in my opinion that makes up for it for humans..
ReplyDeleteI'll be quite brutal here, our lives are way too long as it is, and we spend so many resources on keeping non productive humans in the food chain.
ReplyDeleteIf you were completely productive for the whole 90 year stint, well that’s fair enough, the fact is we are not.
Most of us waste our greatest productive years being workers for those why have past their productive period, I had this saying in my head I was a slave to the baby boomer, the bulk of my working like was spent serving those who were born just after the 2nd world war.
And how do I fell now.....like crap, as the young ones today are too lazy to do any work, all hooked on this time sucking item called the internet.
Now back onto being productive, how the hell does being online 20 hours a day help others, what do you produce, sure you consume some power and eat a pizza or two, but where's the benefit to the community (real one not online) .
All you will leave in your wake is a grease stain on the chair you used to spend your online life on, you'll be lucky to live past the age of 40, and this plays right into the hands of how long our life spans will become, but remember the machines will live for way longer than the fluid sacks which first produced them.
Now to make some real money write a book on this subject, or even better make a film..
Opps, it's already been done, sad fact is people view this as entertainment, one day the horrible truth will reveal its reality.
